Norway is set to face England in the World Cup quarter-finals on Saturday. However, the forecasted heavy rain in Oslo may dampen the celebrations. The Norwegian Meteorological Institute has issued a ‘yellow’ weather warning, predicting locally heavy rain showers with thunder and a risk of stormwater in densely populated areas.

The warning states that more than 20 mm of rain may fall in an hour, leading to a risk of local flooding, changes in stream and river courses, landslides, and flash floods. The rain is expected to stop at around 8:00 p.m. local time, with the game in Miami kicking off at 11:00 p.m.
