So, I definitely think I’m ready to go to my next level and play there.”
The Gators now set their sights on the state playoffs, where they will face a strong Lincoln Southwest team in the opening round on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. If they advance, they will be looking to return to the championship match for a second straight year after falling to Papillion La Vista South in three sets last season.
Community Support and Local Pride
The district title has sparked excitement throughout the Lincoln community, with parents, alumni, and local fans gathering to celebrate the achievement. The victory underscores the importance of high‑school athletics in fostering teamwork, discipline, and school spirit—values that resonate deeply with families across the city.
