Election Results
In Comal County, Shaw received 644 votes, while Ryan received 419 votes. In Guadalupe County, Shaw received 308 votes, and Ryan received 159 votes.
The runoff election was held after no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the initial election. In the initial election, Ryan received 372 votes, or 32.95% of votes, and Shaw received 511 votes, or 45.26% of votes.
