Passenger vehicle registration fees in New Mexico are set to increase by 25% starting July 1. The New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division announced the change, which will affect registration fees for passenger vehicles but not off-highway vehicles, trucks transporting property, RVs, motorcycles, or buses.
Registration fees currently range from $27 to $62 for a one-year registration and $54 to $124 for a two-year registration. The increase is expected to impact many vehicle owners in the state. For more information, residents can visit the MVD website.
