A young mother and therapist, Brooke Hanlon, was found dead in her Chester, New Jersey home. The 35-year-old was a highly regarded therapist who worked with children and families.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the murder, which occurred on June 6. Hanlon’s sister, Paige Haggerty, described the situation as a ‘complete nightmare’ for their family.
Hanlon was a graduate of Wake Forest University and Northeastern University, where she earned her master’s degree in counseling and psychology. She worked as a psychotherapist for LifeStance in Bernardsville, New Jersey.
The family is caring for Hanlon’s baby, who will celebrate their first birthday without their mother. Hanlon’s husband, Conor, is an employee at TriCon Construction Services in Somerville, New Jersey.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case. The investigation is ongoing, and no suspect has been named.
