Nissan will bring back the Xterra, a body-on-frame, truck-based midsize SUV, in early 2027. The new Xterra will share a platform with the rugged Frontier pickup and will feature a mix of V6 and V6 hybrid powertrains. Toyota will enter the world of high-performance supercars with the 2027 GR GT, which will have a twin-turbocharged V8 and a sophisticated hybrid transmission.
