The 2026 NBA Draft saw several teams making sensible decisions, with the Grizzlies and Thunder being among the biggest winners. The Grizzlies landed Cameron Boozer, who is expected to be the best player from this draft, and the Thunder drafted Aday Mara and Bennett Stirtz to address their roster holes.
Winners and Losers
The Bulls also had a successful draft, picking Caleb Wilson and Dailyn Swain, both of whom have great potential. On the other hand, the Lakers’ pick of Cam Carr has raised some questions, as he may be pigeonholed as a specialist. The Pistons traded up to get Ebuka Okorie, a young point guard with a lot of promise.
The Warriors got Yaxel Lendeborg, a two-way forward with size, shooting, passing, and athleticism. The Kings, however, had a less impressive draft, trading up to take Alex Karaban, who was not highly rated.
