Natural History Museum of Wyoming Opens in Ranchester

The Natural History Museum of Wyoming has expanded its presence with a new satellite museum location in Ranchester. According to Executive Director Thomas J. Hebert, the new facility is more than 4,000 square feet and features a gift shop, a rock shop with various rocks and minerals, and about 2,000 square feet of exhibit space showcasing fossils and other finds from the Sheridan area.

The museum’s new location aims to provide enhanced opportunities for community engagement and educational programming. With its brand new dig site, the museum offers a unique experience for visitors to explore and learn about the region’s natural history.
