CASPER, WY — Natrona County District 1’s Board of Trustees celebrated Jackie O’Briant as the district’s 2026 Teacher of the Year during their Monday meeting. When the district restructured middle schools to move ninth‑graders to high schools, O’Briant chose to transition to Natrona County High School, citing an affinity for the grade level and the opportunity to continue her work with older students.
