Dozens of everyday products sold across the United States have been recalled over the past two weeks, affecting everything from food and pet products to household items and outdoor equipment. Recalled Food Items

For example, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has classified an ongoing recall of nearly 685,000 bags of popular potato chips as a Class I recall related to potential salmonella contamination. A Class I designation is for ‘a situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death,’ according to the FDA.

Recalled Household Items

In addition to food items, several household products have been recalled, including Target baby wipes, high-end shampoo, Cuisinart gas grills, and air conditioners. These recalls are due to potential health and safety hazards, such as laceration injury risk and fire hazards.
