Nash County Public Schools is working to diagnose and repair air conditioning outages affecting several schools across the district.
Air Conditioning Issues
In a Facebook post, the district said its maintenance department responds when an air conditioning issue is reported and begins working on repairs. School staff are monitoring temperatures inside affected buildings throughout the day.
The district did not specify which schools are affected by the outages. Schools may adjust the use of classrooms and other spaces to help keep students and staff comfortable while repairs are underway.
NCPS said it will communicate directly with affected families if conditions require changes to the school day or normal operations.
