Naperville is hosting several events this weekend, starting with the Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion. The walk, which aims to raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer research, begins at 10AM on Sunday, July 12. Participants can register, donate, or fundraise to support the cause.
Water Street Art Fair
The Water Street Art Fair will also take place in Downtown Naperville, featuring local artists and their work. The fair will be held from 10AM to 5PM, and admission is free. Additionally, the Naperville Art League & Fine Art Center & Gallery will be open from 1:30PM to 3PM, where artists can share their work and connect with others.
Other events in Naperville include the Sizzling Summer Sidewalk Sale Days, which will conclude on Sunday, and the Concerts in Your Park series, which will feature a free outdoor musical performance at Arrowhead Park at 7PM. Quigley’s Irish Pub will also host live music and show the World Cup Soccer Finals on July 19.
The Naperville Central High School Class of 1986 will celebrate its 40th reunion on September 25 and 26, and organizers are encouraging classmates to spread the word and register for the event. Meanwhile, Rosie’s Home Cookin’ has opened a new location at CityGate Centre, serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch from 7AM to 2PM daily.
The Naperville Community Fireworks Show, presented by Woody Buick GMC and supported by College of DuPage, has been rescheduled for August 8 at Frontier Sports Complex. The event will begin at 9:30PM, and attendees are encouraged to save the date to celebrate America 250.
