Nearly two weeks after a woman was pinned underneath a vehicle in a crash at a Nantucket grocery store parking lot, the woman has died from her injuries, according to Nantucket police. The incident occurred on June 29 in the island’s downtown area at a Stop & Shop parking lot.
Stacey J. Rosen, a 62-year-old from Atlantic Beach, New York, later died from the injuries she sustained. Kathleen M. Featherston, a 62-year-old from Fairfield, Connecticut, was charged with negligent operation and motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, according to police.
The incident was reported as a crash involving a pedestrian about 1:25 p.m. At the grocery store parking lot, officers found that two vehicles had crashed and that a woman was completely under one of the vehicles. She was rushed to Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
