Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) has opened a new customer service center in its downtown terminal in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The new terminal will help expand rider support and improve access to information, passes, and seating assistance.
Enhanced Customer Experience
According to Elaine Sheridan, spokesperson for MMT, the new center is located in the heart of the city, making it easy for people to buy tickets, get information, and access other services. Many of the MMT bus routes pass through downtown, making it convenient for customers to visit the service center if they need assistance.
MMT has also upgraded security and installed sensors at the stop to enhance safety. Since opening about a month ago, the customer service center has seen ten times the number of people compared to the previous location at the Administration Office of Transit.
The new center will also make it easier for surrounding businesses, as customers can now go to the customer service center when they need assistance. The center will be a way for customers to get tickets in person instead of having to use the online system.
