A motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and over a guardrail, falling 65 feet to the riverbank below in a crash overnight in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The Manchester Fire Department responded to the Exit 5 off ramp from Interstate 293 north near Granite Street for a report of a motorcycle in the road. When they arrived, they found the motorcycle abandoned on the road with no driver.
Rescue crews launched boats and were able to access the victim, applying tourniquets and packaging him for transport. The boat returned to the boat ramp, and ambulance personnel rushed him to an area hospital.
