A 28-year-old motorcyclist from West Palm Beach died after a collision with a vehicle on Friday morning west of Boynton Beach, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Albert Garcia was taken to Delray Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival. The crash occurred at 7:08 a.m. at the intersection of El Clair Ranch and Boynton Beach Boulevard.
Details of the Crash
Garcia was traveling westbound on Boynton Beach Boulevard in a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja, approaching El Clair Ranch Road, near Okeeheelee Park, at a high rate of speed. A 2016 Kia Forte, driven by a 39-year-old Boynton Beach man, was going westbound on Boynton Beach Boulevard and was stopped at the intersection.
As the Kia was beginning to turn southbound, Garcia applied the brakes, but due to insufficient time and distance, the collision was unavoidable. The front of the motorcycle impacted the passenger side of the Kia. Garcia was thrown from the motorcycle and was wearing a helmet.
The Kia driver, wearing a seatbelt, was uninjured. Neither alcohol nor drugs was marked in the crash report.
Another Motorcyclist Dies in Separate Incident

The front of the motorcycle struck the right front of the Honda. The impact caused the Honda to rotate counterclockwise. After the collision, the motorcycle struck the driver’s door of a 2022 Nissan Sentra driven by an 18-year-old Greenacres woman.
