Nathan Teel, a former professional motocross rider, now leads the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Motocross trackside ministry at motocross events. Teel has probably raced at Washougal MX Park hundreds of times and has a deep appreciation for the sport and his faith.
FCA Motocross Ministry
Teel stopped racing in 2012 and gave his life to the Lord about four years ago. He felt called to return to the motocross track and share his faith with the motocross community. He set up a spot at a track in Albany, Ore., to talk about Jesus and met a guy with the FCA, which led to his current role in trackside ministry.
Teel appreciates the Huffman family, the owners of Washougal MX Park, who are also believers. The relationship between the FCA and the Huffmans is growing, with Jesus at the center, Teel said.
