Morocco defeated Canada 3-0 in a World Cup match in Houston on Saturday, advancing to the quarterfinals. Two goals from Azzedine Ounahi and one from Soufiane Rahimi secured the win for Morocco.

Match Highlights

Canada started the game strongly, with Tani Oluwaseyi having a great chance to score in the 11th minute. However, Morocco’s Yassine Bounou made a fantastic save to deny him.

Morocco’s star midfielder Ismael Saibari left the pitch injured in the 23rd minute, but the team persevered and eventually found their rhythm. Ounahi scored the opening goal in the 50th minute, and Morocco went on to dominate the rest of the match.

Rahimi added the third goal in the final minutes of the game, securing a 3-0 win for Morocco. The team will now face the winner of France and Paraguay in the quarterfinals.
