He has also guided the community through multiple crises with courage and compassion. Romines was recently named to the Oklahoma Educators Hall of Fame and will be inducted on October 30.

Deputy Superintendent of HR Michelle McNear has been approved as the next superintendent, starting on July 1, 2027. McNear expressed her gratitude and humility in being named the next leader of Moore Public Schools, stating that the district is more than just a school system to her – it is the community that helped raise her and has been her home for the past 30 years.
