The AUM Traditional 8U All-Stars, a youth baseball team from Montgomery, Alabama, captured the 2026 Dixie Youth Baseball Division I AA World Series title by defeating Mississippi 7-1 in the championship game.

The team took an early lead in the title game when Joshua Carter drove in the first run with a double in the opening inning. The offense added to its advantage in the third inning as Caleb Howard delivered an RBI single before Jarvis Eutsey Jr. doubled to extend the lead.
Christian Stewart pitched six strong innings, allowing one run on five hits while helping hold Mississippi’s offense in check. The defense backed Stewart with error-free play, including a key double play that helped preserve the lead.
The All-Stars finished with 11 hits in the championship game. Eutsey led the offense, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs, while Carter and Howard each added two hits.
The championship capped an impressive tournament run for Team Alabama, which finished 7-2 overall and outscored its opponents 59-22. Along the way, the team defeated three state champions and avenged an earlier loss to earn the World Series title.
The victory marks a major milestone for the young players and adds another championship to Montgomery’s youth sports legacy.
Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed and members of the Montgomery City Council recognized the team’s accomplishment during a council meeting.
