MONTECITO, Calif. – The community of Montecito celebrated the 30th anniversary of its Village 4th of July Parade, marking the United States’ 250th anniversary. The event, known as the ‘World’s Shortest Parade,’ took place on San Ysidro Road and ended at Lower Manning Park.
Community Comes Together
Community members, local organizations, first responders, and elected leaders participated in the parade. The celebration continued at Lower Manning Park with live music, local food vendors, and games.
The Montecito Community Foundation and the Montecito Association organized the beloved event, which has become a staple of the community’s 4th of July celebrations.
