A mobile kitchen from the non-profit ‘Serve 6.8’ has been providing free meals to ‘Aspen Acres’ fire crews and victims in Pueblo County, Colorado. The kitchen, hosted by Fellowship of the Rockies, has served over 3,000 meals since its deployment.
Supporting the Community
The mobile kitchen not only provides hot meals but also offers a safe and air-conditioned space for people to receive help and support. Charlie Jones, senior pastor at Fellowship of the Rockies, emphasized the importance of listening to those affected by the fire and meeting their immediate needs.
The kitchen has been serving a variety of meals, including hot meals, sides, and sandwiches. Although the mobile kitchen’s service has ended, its impact on the community will be remembered.
