A plane crash in Butler, Missouri, has resulted in the presumed deaths of all 12 people on board, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Crash Details
The plane crashed Sunday morning near Butler Memorial Airport along Business Interstate 49. Troopers are on the scene, along with the Butler Police Department and Bates County Sheriff’s Office. The highway has been shut down in both directions.
Video from the scene shows smoke emerging from the wreckage in a field. The Federal Aviation Administration did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
