A tragic incident occurred at a Minnesota daycare when a man used a screwdriver to fatally stab his wife and their 7-year-old daughter. The man, identified as Nathan Brown, 41, then took his own life.

The Hennepin County search warrant revealed that Brown stabbed his wife, Kristen Brown, 41, and their daughter, Evie Brown, inside the daycare operated by Kristen Brown out of the family’s basement in Hopkins, a suburb of Minneapolis.
A father dropping off his children for daycare heard screams coming from the basement and called 911 after realizing it was an attack. Six other children were present but were not physically harmed.
Authorities believe Brown had also killed a 78-year-old relative at her home in Burnsville earlier. The motive behind the killings is still unknown.
Kristen Brown had recently sent a letter to parents stating that the daycare would soon be closing due to relationship issues with Nathan.
