A baby deer was trapped in a ballfield at Crosby Park in Middletown Thursday morning, and police caught the rescue mission on camera. This fawn was found by a resident who called police to assist.
Middletown Police Department went to the scene, and with the help of a bystander and a Louisville Metro employee, they were able to wrangle up the fawn. The fawn was then carried by an officer out of the ballfield and into the parking lot. There, it was able to run back to its mother.
