The candidates also battled over the future of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, with Stevens calling it a ‘rogue agency’ and El-Sayed labeling it ‘tyrannical’ and calling for abolishing it altogether. El-Sayed argued that eliminating the legislative filibuster would help Democrats pass the PRO Act and clear a path for stronger antitrust enforcement.
