Deputies from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office responded to a home in the Westchester neighborhood on Tuesday night after receiving multiple calls about a person livestreaming themselves self-harming on social media.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office vehicles and a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue truck were spotted outside the home, located at the corner of Southwest 31st Street and 77th Court.
According to the sheriff’s office, the person was alone inside the home, and deputies are trying to de-escalate the situation using crisis intervention techniques.
Neighbors reported that the man inside the home is celebrity entertainment blogger Perez Hilton, but the sheriff’s office has not confirmed this information.
Video captures what appears to be the man inside the home, naked and possibly bloody.
