Summer Bonanza’s annual Mentor for a Day program, held July 11th at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center in Savannah, connected youth with local business owners, industry leaders, public officials, and community partners for a day of mentorship, inspiration, and fun.
Participants explored various career paths through individual conversations while engaging in interactive STEM activities sponsored by Georgia Power and an arts workshop hosted by Telfair Museums. The program gave students opportunities to connect with peers, access community resources, and build leadership skills.
The event also received sponsorship from Chatham County, the City of Savannah, Coca-Cola, the Savannah Convention Center, and many other community partners. Community organizations interested in mentoring or partnering are encouraged to get involved, and parents are invited to register children for next year’s program.
