Residents of Teton County, Wyoming, will have the opportunity to meet local candidates at a pair of candidate forums next week at the Teton County Library. The forums, presented by the League of Women Voters of Wyoming, Teton County Library, the Jackson Hole News&Guide, KHOL Radio, and Buckrail, will provide a chance for voters to get to know the people behind the names on the ballot.
Candidate Lineup
On Wednesday, July 15, candidates vying for seats on the Teton County Board of County Commissioners will participate in a Q&A session. The candidates include Democrats Brent Blue, Karyn Chin, Ali Dunford, Wes Gardner, Mark Newcomb, and Luther Propst, as well as Republican candidates Vicky O’Donoghue and Melchor Dylan Moore, and Independent candidate Alex Muromcew.
On Thursday, July 16, candidates running for Teton County coroner will participate in a Q&A session. The candidates include Katrina Clauson, David Hodges, Russell Nelson, and Krista Nethercott.
Both events will begin at 6 p.m. and will be moderated by media partners, with questions from the audience. The events will also be videotaped, with recordings available at TCLIB.org after the events, and will include Spanish subtitles on the YouTube recording.
