West Palm Beach’s Meals on Wheels program is celebrating a major milestone: the unveiling of a brand-new headquarters that the organization says will help it expand services for local seniors.
The new facility marks a significant step forward for the nonprofit, which delivers meals and companionship to homebound older adults across the community. With a larger, more capable home base, Meals on Wheels aims to reach more seniors in need throughout the area.
The good news kept coming for Palm Beach County’s young residents as well. Related Ross announced it is donating 274 FIFA World Cup tickets to Palm Beach County Boys & Girls Clubs, giving hundreds of local kids a once-in-a-generation chance to experience the world’s biggest sporting event firsthand.
Together, these two acts of community generosity reflect the spirit of a city that looks out for its youngest and oldest residents alike — a reminder that West Palm Beach’s greatest strength is the people who call it home.
