Mark Ingram II, the first-ever Heisman Trophy winner from the University of Alabama, was inducted into the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame. Ingram played 10 of his 12 NFL seasons with the Saints, finishing his career with the team in 2022.
College and NFL Career
Ingram rushed for 8,111 yards and 65 touchdowns in the NFL, also catching 303 passes for 2,125 yards and 10 scores. Before his NFL career, Ingram played for the University of Alabama under head coach Nick Saban, rushing for 3,261 yards and 42 touchdowns in three seasons.
Ingram was a key player for the Saints, breaking Deuce McAllister’s record for rushing yards with the organization and rushing touchdowns. He now sits second all-time in Saints history in both categories behind Alvin Kamara.
