Teresa Capps Martyn, 38, was last seen around 7:40 a.m. at the Circle K at SW 60th Avenue and W Highway 40 in Marion County, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Martyn was wearing a tank top, jean shorts or a skirt, a large brown jacket, and no shoes, and she left the area on foot.
Martyn is described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall and 130 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. Around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, she was seen reportedly yelling for help in the 5100 block of SW Azalea Court in Dunnellon. Deputies later located her vehicle on the side of the road in the Rainbow Park Estates area, finding that her phone and wallet were still inside the vehicle.
Anyone who sees Martyn or knows of her whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
