Dallas‑area diners have a new reason to cool off this summer. Maple Leaf Diner, a Canadian‑themed eatery that opened in 2015, rolled out a three‑drink limited‑time offer (LTO) menu in July. The lineup draws on nostalgic summer flavors and is priced between $7 and $8.

Peaches & Cream Soda – $7: A twist on classic Sprite, this soda mixes peach purée and vanilla syrup, topped with soft whip and a dehydrated lemon‑lime garnish.
Dole Whip Pineapple Mimosa – $8: Champagne meets pineapple juice, crowned with soft whip for a festive, fruity sparkle.
National Waffle Day celebrations
On Aug. 24, the diner will observe National Waffle Day with several specialty waffle dishes. Regular patrons can expect the familiar Chicken, Bacon & Waffles, a dish highlighted in Paula Deen Magazine, featuring hand‑breaded fried chicken strips on Belgian waffles, topped with bacon, strawberries, whipped cream, and cream puffs.
New to the menu is the Country Sausage Waffle, which adds smoked country sausage to the chicken and waffle base, finished with additional cream puffs. Another fan favorite, the Steak Waffle, was showcased on the Food Network’s Incredible Edible America. It layers a boneless blade steak, sautéed peppers and onions, white gravy, Canadian bacon, and cream puffs on a fresh waffle.
