A man is dead after he was hit by a car in southwest Oklahoma City late Tuesday night, according to police. The Oklahoma City Police Department said a man was killed after he was hit by a car around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday near Southwest 61st Street and South May Avenue.
Officers say the driver left the scene but returned later. The driver did not appear to be impaired at the time of the crash, according to police. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
An investigation into the incident is now underway. Police have not said whether the driver will face charges.
