Man Arrested After Crash Chase In Pembroke Pines

A man was arrested after police said he crashed his vehicle and then took off in Pembroke Pines on Wednesday.

Authorities said officers responded to the area of the Dunkin’ Donuts at 9801 Pines Boulevard for a crash before the driver allegedly fled from police.

After a short chase, Irving Rashad Steele was taken into custody.

Video shows a white SUV with a damaged front windshield and air bags deployed on a patch of grass at the edge of a shopping plaza.
