Judge Gregory Carro confirmed that the trial will proceed on September 8, despite any outstanding motions. The jury will be anonymous, and the parties have been asked to confer on the questionnaire for prospective jurors.
Mangione has pleaded not guilty to all the charges and is also slated to stand trial on federal stalking charges in January 2027.
