Tickets for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art are now available for purchase. The museum, located in Exposition Park, will open its doors on September 22. The institution was co-founded by filmmaker George Lucas and business executive Mellody Hobson to explore storytelling through visual art.

The museum will feature over 1,200 artworks displayed across approximately 100,000 square feet of gallery space. Among the opening exhibitions will be “Star Wars in Motion,” featuring props, costumes, and vehicle designs from the first six films in the franchise.
Admission will cost $25 for adults and $21 for seniors age 65 and older, while children 17 and younger will be admitted free. The museum also offers free admission for active-duty military personnel, personal aides or attendants accompanying visitors, and EBT cardholders.
A community preview day will be held on September 13, giving local residents, community partners, business owners, and civic leaders an opportunity to tour the facility before it opens to the public.
