Louisville Shooting Leaves Adult Teenager Injured

Louisville Metro Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the Russell neighborhood early Saturday morning. The incident happened just after 2 a.m. in the 2500 block of West Chestnut Street.

When officers arrived, they found an adult and a teenager who had been shot. Both victims were taken to UofL Hospital for treatment, and their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is leading the investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact LMPD’s anonymous tip line at (502) 574-LMPD (5673).
