Since the start of 2026, the city has impounded 47 vehicles linked to illegal dumping incidents, including 18 cases directly tied to the five listed centers.

Mayor Craig Greenberg emphasized the administration’s dedication to a clean community. “We want our city to be clean in every corner of our city, in alleyways, in properties that aren’t actively used, everywhere in our city should be clean,” Greenberg said. “Illegal dumping is putting us in the wrong direction. That’s why we’re serious about it, that’s why we’re taking action, that’s why we’re impounding cars. We will do everything that we have the ability to do to stop illegal dumping.”
