A caiman, a small-to-medium sized predatory reptile, has been reported loose in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding the animal, which was last seen near Sunnylane Estates at South Sunnylane Road and East Indian Hills Road.
What is a Caiman?
A caiman is a member of the alligator family and is native to Central and South America. It is not native to Oklahoma. The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging people who live in the area to keep an eye on their pets and to call 911 if they see the animal.
