Sergio Garcia, a top star who left the PGA Tour for LIV Golf in 2022, believes that his current league will likely continue in 2027. This comes despite the news that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund will no longer fund LIV after this season.
LIV Golf Seeking New Investors
LIV Golf is seeking around $300 million from investors to play a 10-tournament schedule in 2027. Garcia expressed his confidence in the league’s future, stating that he is ‘99% sure’ it will continue, albeit in a different form than the last four years.
Garcia has been playing in various tournaments, including the DP World Tour’s BMW International Open in Germany. He plans to renew his DP World Tour status for 2027 and play in at least three more DP World Tour events this season.
