Lionel Richie’s opening night performance in Saint Paul, Minnesota, was cut short after he felt dizzy onstage. Richie was performing with Earth, Wind & Fire on their joint tour.
Richie told the audience at the Grand Casino Arena that he was feeling unwell and needed to sit down. Shortly after, a man came onstage and announced that the show would not continue.
Richie had shared behind-the-scenes photos from rehearsal and sound check on Instagram hours before the show. The next scheduled stop on the tour is Friday in Chicago.
