Las Cruces Public Schools are preparing for the 2026-2027 school year by hosting a series of meet and greet events for elementary and middle school students. The events will give students and their families an opportunity to meet teachers, explore classrooms, and receive class schedules.
Meet and Greet Schedule
The meet and greet schedule is as follows:
- July 16: Vista Middle School (8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
- July 22: Booker T. Washington Elementary (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.), MacArthur Elementary (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.), Camino Real Middle School (9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for grade 6, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for grades 7 and 8), Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy (2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.), Picacho Middle School (9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for grade 6, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for grades 7 and 8), Sierra Middle School (9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for grade 6, 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for grades 7 and 8)
