The Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce announced its new president and CEO on June 24. Debbi Moore began the position in early May after serving as the CEO and president of the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce for 14 years.
Background and Experience
Before Rio Rancho, Moore served in various positions at multiple Chambers of Commerce, including Waxahachie, Texas, Hobbs, and Albuquerque, according to the Greater Chamber of Commerce. Moore also worked at the American Diabetes Association New Mexico from 1999 to 2002, where she brought in income through fundraising and events. During her time in Rio Rancho, she worked at the YWCA and Rio Rancho Community Foundation.
Moore replaces Bill Allen, former GLCCC president and CEO, who took on a similar position in Midland, Michigan.
