A joint operation between the Los Angeles Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration is currently underway in MacArthur Park.
The operation began at approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday, with dozens of officers and tactical vehicles descending upon the park. NewsChopper4 was overhead, capturing footage of the scene as access to the park was blocked off to the public.
