The Santa Barbara Old Mission recently hosted La Misa del Presidente, a special mass for El Presidente Colin Hayward, who heads up Old Spanish Days 2026. Hayward and his wife Monica led a processional into the church and took his seat in the front row for the mass that filled every pew.
Many of those attending were in their Fiesta attire for a mass that holds deep significance during the annual event, which dates back to 1924. A special reception took place after the mass with El Presidente, the Old Spanish Days members, and those attending.
