La Familia Advances To Tbt Championship

La Familia beat JHX Hoops, a Kansas alumni team, 78-65 on Wednesday night in Memorial Coliseum to advance to the TBT Championship.

The winner of Sunday’s final will take home the $2 million prize.

Archie Goodwin hit the game-ending shot and finished with a game-high 28 points.

La Familia closed the first quarter on a 11-2 run and led 15-10 after one. They led 37-30 at halftime and pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring JHX Hoops 21-7 in the third quarter.

The Mecca and Davis Steel meet in the Vegas Bracket final at 7 p.m. on Thursday. The winner advances to Sunday’s championship.

La Familia will host the final on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum.
