Kaufmann notes that comfort is a top priority for kids, with many parents seeking out clothes made from soft fabrics like bamboo and cotton blends. The boutique is also seeing a surge in sales of statement accessories, such as pink rhinestone cowboy boots and squishies, small squeezable toys that are flying off the shelves.
Kaufmann, a mom of three, understands the importance of letting kids express themselves through their clothing choices. ‘I think it’s so important to let your kid express themselves,’ she said. ‘I’m trying to instill in them that clothing doesn’t make who you are, but it helps you feel confident going into the day.’
