Kentucky officials are asking the Supreme Court to reconsider a ruling that gave Gov. Andy Beshear control over the State Fair Board. Following the ruling, Beshear removed Kentucky Venues CEO David Beck.
Attorney General Russell Coleman and Agriculture Commissioner Jonathan Shell are asking the court to reconsider the ruling, saying “the governor’s overreach created an unnecessary disruption just weeks before the opening of the Kentucky State Fair.” Mike Berry was named interim CEO after Beck’s ousting.
