Kelsey Plum Likely To Be Traded

Kelsey Plum, a WNBA All-Star guard, is likely to be traded by the Los Angeles Sparks by Sunday’s midseason trade deadline, according to LA Times reporter Marisa Ingemi. Plum has been with the Sparks for two seasons and has had a historic offensive season, averaging 23.9 points and 6.4 assists per game, despite dealing with injuries.

Plum’s Time with the Sparks

Plum signed a one-year, $999,999 contract with the Sparks ahead of the season, after being traded from Las Vegas in a three-team trade. Although she has individually excelled since arriving in Los Angeles, the team has missed out on the playoffs in both years and appears on track to do so again.
